About Burton weather. The position is moderately sheltered to the northeast by hedges and trees, which borders farmland and fields.
On my site you will find detailed information on local weather, i.e. daily, weekly and monthly reports and historical data which can be found in the archives.
I also produce a daily weather forecast and an outlook for the Burton-on Trent district and surrounding areas.
My forecast are no nonsense, straight to the point, no spin, I will tell the weather as it i.e. not trying to make a rainy day sound better, if its going to be wet and miserable I will say so, if it's going to be cold, I will say so, if we look to be getting a nice hot day in the summer, I will not  blame it on 'Global Warming' or call it a climate emergency.
My forecast page can be found by clicking the link at the top of the page.
Enjoy.

My interest with the weather goes way back to the 1960’s when I was just a young boy. I think maybe it was the very harsh winter of 1962-63 which sparked my interest, although I am interested in all aspects of the weather, I have a love for cold weather and snow in the wintertime.

Recently severe winters have returned to the British Isles, there is some debate over what may be the cause. You may gain some insight by reading a recent article written by me which appeared in the Derbyshire magazine.
